Promoting Your Art: Mailers and Drop-Offs

At USA on Canvas, we receive countless amount of print orders from professional and amateur artists from all over US who do traditional and digital artworks mostly for their customers.

We encourage artists to sell their prints through us by offering an account with re-seller/pro discount. To set your account as a re-seller/pro, send us an email with your business information (name, phone and website) and we will set your account as pro-seller with 20% discount to start. When placing orders online you can enter any address in US or Canada as your shipping address, if you send labels or stickers we can attach them for you. Please note still the shipping boxes will have our labels on them.

Before everyone is ready to apply for the re-seller/pro account, we would like to go over promotional prints, the classic way to promote your art. Nowadays, there are bountiful online portfolio sites and online shops available for the artists to reach out for their potential customers. The sites are accessible and user-friendly BUT sometimes it is quite difficult to know what what it would be like exactly in real life.

We believe in the tangible piece of art with real color and texture that will capture everyone's heart and mind.

What to include

Most importantly, there should be your ART that is standing out. Then your name and contact info including your online portfolio address, email, and phone number so that art directors or customers can reach you when they are interested in your work. You may consider using your mailers as an invitation for your exhibition or workshop events.

2 Ways to connect:

Good Old Mailers

If you choose to send your promotional prints via regular mail as your method of connection, you can either choose to go with standard 4" x 6" postcards or something more interesting in unique sizes and formats, like booklet, calendar, or even magnet.

Say Hello! Drop-Offs

An alternative way to the mailers, there will be no need to stop by the post office but you get to actually to go places! Drop off your prints at local gift shops, craft markets, art supplies stores, community centers, and cool cafes so that people can see and take your lovely works home. Before you do that, talk to the owners, managers, or person in charge to let them know about you and ask for permission for distributing your works. Go ahead and have fun! :)

At USAonCanvas, we offer a wide range of giclee and fine art printing options. Select your canvas/fine art paper/photo paper to get multiple copies of your print with giclee inks, and finally send them or drop them off to spread the love!
